We hope these pics clear some discussions on the hose extensions 45° or 90°

Standard, no extension, using a wing and backplate

hoses definetly too short for comfortable diving/breathing/moving head,
special when you add a drysuit and the unit is farer away!
Same system with 45 degree angles.

longer hoses, going a bit straight up.

Good for tall persons or if Dolphin is really down when using a backplate
90 degree angles, hose is going smoothly over the shoulder

Good solution for normal Dolphin and if unit is high.

Maybe a minor solution for tall divers using a backplate system

Best is to turn the angles a bit to outer direction, as you may see on the picture
