Left side ring is the switch for ON/OFF  right side for backlight

 

The rings are perfect for protection and switching purpose!

The magnet is installed in the rings.

They are sliped over, so you can remove them w/o problems
All our boards are coming with a 10k resistor installed, so ready to use with R22D or similar sensors. Some other models do not need that resistor. So be carefull on the sensor you use!!  This end-plug has a hole closed with normal 3/8UNF blindplug for easy calibration without removing complete plug
   

The plug at tube has a PG9 cord grip (cable gland) and on p-port holder side a metric thread (M12x1,5), no problem, same cable will fit. The range of squezzing will allow that!

To be 100%, best is to glue the cable also with two component EPOXY. This is what we do!!!
