3 Cell unit update 30th of june 2005. Info for all the guys waiting

After some (a lot of...) trys and errors  we are ready (hopefully), just waiting one or two more weeks as the first unit is tested by a group of " homebuilder KISS-style Rebreather Divers ".

Of course we want to show you first pictures and measurements. The unit is much smaller then our first try and only about 2,5-3cm cm higher than Uwatecs OXY2, due to an additional sensor (which has aprox 30mm outer diameter).

For that reason, so far we are not planning a new special extension tube (exhale side) for the 3sensor house as 2-3 cm difference is not that big. OK, if you do not have an extension and you like one we can make it, no question. But will not be a stock product right now.

The system will also be available for Ray and Voyager, but not before mid to end of august. Sorry, first the Dolphin units as there are some inquiries. Also the first Voyager units are already reserved.

Maybe we will be able to make the Ray version one more cm smaller (due to different hose fitting system), we will see

All units will only be available in dark-grey/black

We tried and tested the unit with R22d compatible sensors, the modified MD and the MD3 sensors from Analytical Instruments. You must use sensors with maximum outer diameter of 29mm.  Otherwise only two sensors will fit in. Sorry for that, but we tried to cut each millimeter where possible. For that reason we also tried to place the big screw partly into the house, to get it as short as possible.

Best is to use our modified  MD Sensor from Analytical Instruments USA. Hopefully later on Analytical Instruments will produce a smaller sensor, as I was told........(update) Yes smaller sensors are coming first week of august...called MD3..
