How to use the refill scrubber

install the bigger sieve with the fixed pin like this.

The POM tube is identical on both sides, except one part has three small holes to fix it to bottom lid with set screws.

the black conus can be adjust by screwing to where you like it. It is supposed to be in the middle of the scrubber filling, depending how much you fill in...you can adjust it by turning

  
install the bottom lid

use the screws...or do not use them...free decision

when using, take care you do not brake anything

 

turn around

the conus in the center ist turnable, so due to fill high you can adjust it alwas more or less to the center of filling high.
make sure the cartrige is correct on the o-ring

the o-ring is only to fix, not sealing any gas flow,

now you can fill in scrubber

as the o-ring has no sealing funtion here, it is possible to install three srcews to fix tube to bottom lid. Much nicer as then it is a fixed unit.

The lower part always has the three holes drilled and the screws a parts of the set ..as it is way better....to use it like this..

 
fill the scrubber as you like or have to do.

Fill height is variable.

take care to shake while and after filling to ensure good packing

install the smaller sieve on top,  install the spring (right pic)

tight it with the butterfly screw

 

thin foam disk can also used as an add on if you like/need, you may use the one from the original non refilable cartriges.....maybe an idea when using dusty soda lime
install the top lid

check the o-ring on the top lid

  
install the unit properly

close the screws (spring missing in the pic also the yellow foam)
     
uninstall

take bottom lid of.

Mostly the cartrige is still in the unit. So best is to work when unit is lying

If cartrige comes out together with bottom lid ...fine and easier go to last step

 when fixed to the bottom lid with the srews

...no need to take care here...

as the set comes out complete
press with your fingers to the lower sieve

lift up the scrubber and take cartrige out completly

  
     
place the cartriges revers on the table.

If you now turn it .....all will fall out

best is reinstalling the bottom lid and then turn around.

Then you can take off the top lid, unscrew the butterfly screw and get rid of the soda lime ....

 

it is easy...you just have to follow the steps one or two times..and you got it...
